So this was my first attempt at any kind of electronic music, and it kinda shows. We'd learnt how to change parameters in Reason at college and I was inspired to do something incorporating that. Needless to say, I still enjoy the track and think it has a unique sound to it.

Rise (BreezBlok)

I really like this track, the whole thing just seems to really stand out to me. This version is an upmixed one as for Uni we had to submit a electronic track featuring some of the things we'd learned throughout the year. I feel that it just seems very clear and has its own identity. I hope that you enjoy it too.

I Had An Idea (BreezBlok)

This one is a peculiar track. I love the progression of it and would have loved to have worked with proper string and woodwind instruments for it but as my resources are limited I had to work with what primitive VSTs I had. It'll definitely be something I come back to when I have the time.

Dreamscape (BreezBlok)

This one was me messing with an idea from a track that me and a group of friends had made in college. I recorded a few of the tracks after recording this to find out what kind of sound they'd have. Considering that the drums weren't mixed, I think it came out quite well.

This was a one-shot recording in my bedroom with some video accompaniment somewhere on YouTube. I quite like the clarity of the recording and Cai has a tone to his voice I like going back to when recording vocalists.

I'll Lay Me Down (Llew Edwards)

This track was written for a friend who was in trouble. He needed 4 original track writing over one weekend and hadn't made any work towards them. So, having nothing to do, I thought I'd help him out. Despite the rushed time frame and recording quality, this is one of my more favoured tracks. I really like the feel of this one, it's quite pumped and live sounding... even though the drums are sampled and everything was done in my bedroom. Regardless, I loved the challenge and the tracks came out pretty well considering.

Break Right Through

Pretty much the same story as 'Break Right Through'. A rushed weekend with a surprisingly good outcome. This has a more rugged feel to it, a bit harsher. There's a mistake with my playing right at the end so I had to make something up on the spot to make it sound like it was supposed to be there!

Falling Down

With this, I was just messing around with ambient sounds and making small progressive tracks as more of a background noise or backing track to something. I was told at one point that my tracks sound very 'video game-y' so I took that and worked with it. I love the space-y vibe this gives, hence the name (for any Mass Effect fans checking this out). Enjoy!
