Following the death of his father from a sudden heart-attack, JJM first began making music at 16, spurred by his realisation that life was too short to be lived in fear of judgement. 

Raised near Brighton (UK), JJM is a devout Buddhist who uses his music as an outlet for honest emotional expression and vulnerability. 

As an independent artist who writes, produces, mixes and masters all his own music, he preaches a DIY approach to creativity, having been inspired by his favourite artist Russ. 

With an extensive discography comprising of many sub-genres, JJM’s musical catalogue offers a fulfilling listening experience for any Hip-Hop fan. His music aims to establish a meaningful connection with his listeners by shedding light onto his own struggles and pain, while also sharing the tools he’s found to provide support through the hardships of life.

Having performed at the O2 Academy Islington, Brixton Jamm and Volks Nightclub, as well as in self-organised shows, JJM continues to build an entrenched community of listeners and supporters, despite being relatively new on the scene.

Now age 21, he is currently focusing on mastering his art through crafting and releasing frequent singles, adopting the notorious song-a-week method.
