CR008 is coming in special with the debut EP from Cimmerian head Honcho Kilbourne.
This 4 track EP is named after and Inspired by the story of the Greek Titan, Oceanus.

'Oceanus' as a track is an attempt at Contrasting both the beauty and the dangers of the sea. With ocean soundscapes and the bass that gives you the feeling of being rocked by waves.

‘Prometheus’ is inspired by the story of the chains of Prometheus. Taking you through the depths of deep bass with melodic tones, and mythical melodies.

'Sola' is an embodiment of both Kilbourne and Saturna's sound by expressing a cross between heavy bass and melodic soundscapes.
A testament to how the sun can be both beautiful yet unforgiving at the same time; Provide life, yet still scorch it and take it away.

'Big Man Style' is thick and weighty track trying to blend a similar style to the EP with grime vocals from the one and only, Griz-O.

The EP encompasses a beautiful yet dark journey ahead while showcasing the unparalleled sounds of the man like Kilbourne.

I'm very excited to finally start sharing this set of music with you all via @cimmerianrecords. I Have been playing all of these out for the past year with many people asking about them!

Today I'm bringing you the first single from the EP. If you pre-order the EP through Bandcamp, you get this track today! 
"Fair Transaction" is a dark and grimey tune focused for the dancefloor, featuring vocals from the UK badman himself, Rakjay. @rakjayuk

The rest of the EP features the solo title track "Acheron", "Aura"  with MAE B on vocals and "Cerbarus" a three way Collab between myself, Internal Frequency & MAC. 

This 4 track EP is the Succession to my debut "Oceanus EP" from last year, following the theme of Greek Mythology with the title track "Acheron".

Today I'm here to share with you the third track from the EP titled "Aura". "Aura" features written and recorded vocals from @mae-b-music.  
This Track represents that dark music is not without light. It's a reminder that even in our darkest moments, there is always hope for something better. By embracing our pain and working through it, we can find strength and resilience, and ultimately emerge into the light.

Get your gunfingerz ready, Kilbourne is bringing back our mix series in a massive way. Inspired by the emotions he is currently feeling and the energy he is currently holding, this mix features an eclectic mix of Grime, Hip-Hop and Dubstep. Featuring an array of dubs and forthcoming bits from his friends, and released favourites.

Kilbourne’s sound is inspired by sound system culture and the roots I come from. Growing up listening to Hip-Hop he features a lot of Grime and Hip-Hop vocals in his own releases and in this mix. His inspiration for Dubstep came from the beaches of Texada Island from Diversity Music Festival.  With local legend Westerly bringing top tier Dubstep acts to the community based festival it introduced him to sound system culture and the depth of the music behind it. From then on, Kilbourne dove head first into the 140 realm and has worked extremely hard to establish a sound that resonates for him. His inspiration to grow and be creative is from nature, his community, his partner, the event and the emotions he is feeling. 

As friends and fans we see how hard Kibourne is working. He runs and curates Cimmerian records, plus has had some massive releases with Deep Dark & Dangerous, Cimmerian Records, Iron Shirt Recordings, Sublimated Sounds & Heft Audio. As well as guest mix features with Deep Dark & Dangerous, Infernal Sounds, Fatkidonfire, Juan Forte, 4ncurrency, Hydration Mix Series, Deep Tempo, Sub Chakra, Rewind 140, Influx Audio, The Widdfam and Subtle Radio.

This is just the beginning for Kilbourne and we can't wait to see where he goes next.

Pachena Bay Music Festival was absolutely beautiful this year. An incredible weekend filled with incredible people, music, vibes and of course the most epic location. I started the day off early on Saturday 9:30-11:00 AM with some deep selects on the beach stage this year.

This August I got to venture off from my home bass on Vancouver Island to the other coast of Canada to New Brunswick for Future Forest Festival.
I had the opportunity to play 11:30 - 1:00 AM Sunday on the Mushroom stage and the curation of this night was on point right until stage close. I spent a ton of hours curating the journey for this one and poured a lot of myself into it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!💙🍄✨🔊🌲
