'deus ex machina' is my second record, and fifth overall release.

arguably the most pop-influenced of all my work, i'd like to think it's also the least and most cohesive collective of songs i've ever assembled. each track is sonically different, and they represent different characters, each with their own traits and personalities.

'deus ex machina' is the story of unit A-VA, or 'ava', an alien android sent by his motherboard interface to a once wealthy and prosperous, but now broken and forsaken city wrought with chaos and pandemonium. he is given seven days to find seven people who are worth saving in this city that has 'completely lost its humanity,' and ironically finds that the people he finds are most human are those who are least treated as such.

this album celebrates love, diversity, growth, empathy, and the coming together of various perspectives. in writing it, i tried to stand up for the everything i believed in, while also taking the time to be tongue-in-cheek about certain matters or even vulnerable about the smallest feelings. i hope in listening to this album you might walk with your head held higher, even for just a little. :)
