J-KIND is a San Francisco-based DJ/Producer with a fierce love for techno and a deep-rooted passion for creating unforgettable sonic experiences. Known for his eclectic and genre-bending style, J-KIND's sets are a journey through sound—ranging from deep and introspective to funky and hard-hitting beats that keep the dance floor moving. With every mix, he blends relentless energy with a creative touch, delivering an emotional rollercoaster that pulls you in, and before you know it, your body is lost in the rhythm.

Beyond techno, J-KIND’s sound is shaped by an array of musical influences that span genres and eras. Classically trained on piano, his deep appreciation for the structure and emotion of classical music blends seamlessly with the raw energy of funk, the groove of soul, the aggression of metal, and the storytelling of hip hop. This unique fusion of sounds finds its way into his sets, making each performance an unpredictable yet cohesive journey that transcends boundaries and keeps the crowd guessing.

Drawing heavy inspiration from the 90s greats like Daniel Bell, Terry Francis, Richie Hawtin, and Mark Farina, J-KIND has been a staple in the underground scene since 2001. Cutting his teeth in the Bay Area rave circuit, he's rocked dance floors from San Francisco to Europe. His influence extends to his residencies at iconic SF spots like Temple, Bad Habits (now Monroe), Bubble Lounge, and his longtime role as a resident DJ for Burning Man's Airpusher Collective.

Now holding a monthly residency at Ibiza Stardust Radio, J-KIND’s craft is all about blending the old and new, whether spinning vinyl or dropping tracks on CDJs. To him, DJ’ing is a creative art form—a way to fuse two tracks into something fresh, something uniquely *J-KIND*.

His musical journey as a producer hit a major milestone with his debut EP "Beautiful Life" on Mioli Music in 2015, followed by the hit single "Change of Tides." Now co-founder of Yes! Records, his 2023 release, *Boundaries EP*, has made waves with remixes from Emanate and Franccessco Cardenas, cementing his place in the techno world.
