Gravitas Recordings has been releasing mad amazing music over the last month or so and I highly recommend you go check some out; new albums by AMB, Civilian Sol, and Zebbler Encanti Experience. On a side-note: I put 2 songs by Deep Heads because I just found them and I was particularly blown away. So chill. But not as chill as 'The Journey' by Tom Misch. My girlfriend put it best: "disgustingly chill."

This installment of our White Label series comes from 18 year old London composer, songwriter, guitarist, singer & violinist, Tom Misch. We felt the need to list all of this in the description, because each track is such an audio masterpiece. "Basically this EP is me attempting to make instrumentals that will effect people moods in a positive way but also make people think, all produced and recorded by myself in my bedroom. Like the forgotten soundtrack to an overcast day, "Going Down" by Hungarian producer AMB seeks to explore an inner restlessness in the listener. A perfect storm of downtempo, techno, RnB, and future bass vibes permeate this seven track EP, acting as the perfect illustration of this songwriter's diverse skill set. Moody strings are interwoven with shadowy bass laid bare on a bedrock of intelligent percussion, setting up a tender yet climatic atmosphere for the album. Toward the end of the journey, legendary bass music producer The Widdler flips "Night Slide" into a highly emotive excursion through future garage, concluding things in a fitting fashion. The entire release is available as a free/pay-what-you-want download via Gravitas Recordings, marking a sense of AMB's gratitude toward his fans as well as life itself.
