After five years of planning, writing, and refining their sound, London-based production duo Kolectiv are set to release their long-awaited debut drum & bass album, Circadian Rhythms.

The project began in the aftermath of the pandemic, when the pair started setting aside tracks that captured the spirit of a night out at a drum & bass event. Their vision was clear: to create an album that reflects the variety, energy, and progression of a rave – from the first beats that pull you into the closing sounds that carry you home.

“Going out to drum & bass nights, you’d hear so many different flavours across six or seven hours. We wanted the album to follow that same arc – like a circadian rhythm, a natural flow of time, but in this case the cycle of a rave,” Kolectiv explain.

To achieve this, the duo placed a strong emphasis on originality and sound design. Most of the album was built from scratch using their own recorded samples, crafted through sessions with keys, drums, and guitars, and only dipping into external sources when absolutely necessary. Vocal collaborations from PAV4N, Hijak MC, Illmatika and Kerry Donnelly add unique flavour to the project, while carefully placed interludes tie the project together as a complete listening experience.

“This isn’t just a collection of tracks. We wanted it to be a journey – a cradle-to-grave kind of experience – with highs, lows, and moments to breathe.”

The title Circadian Rhythms captures that intention perfectly: an audio diary of a night spent immersed in drum & bass culture, told through Kolectiv’s trademark blend of technical precision and emotional depth.

The project also coincided with a complete studio overhaul, giving Kolectiv a fresh environment to finalize and mix down the record with a renewed sense of clarity and focus.

With Circadian Rhythms, Kolectiv deliver more than an album – they present a story, an atmosphere, and a tribute to the music and culture that shaped them.

Lorely Mur is a Mexican DJ and producer. She is the newest resident of the long-standing Mexican venue, Hardpop Club, where in just a short period of time gathered support from some of the biggest names in the industry along with being the main headlining herself across the border. Something of a stand-out breakthrough artist in the dance scene, she has constantly impressed with her deep and dark Techno hits such as ‘Interstellar Mission’ EP with Eclipse Recordings, her collaboration track ‘Cold Water Army’ with SLC-6 that reached Top 10 in Techno charts and her critically acclaimed track ‘Melena’ with NULL Recs.
Lorely’s passion for music has been leading her to create her own sounds with the use of experimental synthesizers and percussions but also, she is a self proclaimed space geek whose day job is in the space industry. Lorely’s dedication and impeccable have put her on the trajectory to stardom and is arguably an artist who is out of this world!
