So my awesome friend Stina put out our song Black Rain on her site https://soundcloud.com/user-481434076 check her stuff out!! She had made an acoustic version and I decided to put it out. So we are kind of going backwards but I love her music! I hope you enjoy and this was ALL her so thank her for this beauty!!

It's called "Plug & Play" because I plugged my SG into my Marshall...and played. All one take, including some fun string noise. I created the jam track, which is really just me playing a bass groove along with a drum loop. I hope you enjoy. It was sure fun to play.

Under the Wings of the Sphinx-1

I was listening back to my band from back in the 90s This Elegant Chaos and thinking this needs to be heard again. 
This was a band that formed quickly from other bands we had all been in previously.
With 90s Britpop/ Indie Alternative Rock still very relevant. I thought these tracks need a fresh outing. 
I would consider this band to be some of my best work to date. 
So I’ve decided to release a track every time I have a space in between current releases. 
This track Dreaming Of Johnny is about a dream I had about meeting John Lennon after he faked his own death to be free from media/ music industry pressure. He was living in Walsall on Sea in the West Midlands in a flat. 
Yes I know it doesn’t make any sense but it’s a dream. Tells the story of meeting him and explaining why he faked his death. 
The band were formed  in 1997 by Simon Bayliss and myself .
Simon a bassist and me a vocalist we had a handful of songs that needed a band of seasoned musicians to bring them alive. I recruited former band members of previous projects Lee Hughes & Rob Adams (guitarists) and Dave Robins (drums). 
Within months the band were recording and playing live with several labels showing an interest. 
Our first deal was with Holier than Thou Records but we left without releasing anything due to financial reasons. 
Our first release was a  7 Track 
EP “Hello Thane” on Quicksilver Records, quickly followed by our  debut album Virtue Circle released on Underground label Music & Elsewhere, which became a best seller for the  label. 
The album was then remastered and re-released back on Quicksilver Records in cd format, re-intitled “Virtue Circle Revisted”, M&E dealing with distribution.
Probably the best work to date was the final album Magino Line also released on Quicksilver Records. Unfortunately Simon had to leave before the second album due to work commitments with Artist Naomi of Gut Records. This lead to ‘Sarge’ Mark Sargent taking over bass duties. 
This Elegant Chaos bowed out in 2001 after the previous years sell out gig at Ronnie Scott’s. It was a wonderful time to be in a band with such talented musicians. 
Early 2020 we were released again on Music & Elsewhere to celebrate the labels 30th anniversary. This was a collection of the labels favourite songs in a download format.

Distopian theme

I am a classically trained composer, finished music school in Russia and took private lessons in music composition. I write and orchestrate my works myself.  I am influenced by music of Tchaikovsy, Chopin, Beethoven, Shubert, Alexander Desplat, Thomas and Randy Newman, Danny Elfman. I write in cinematic, orchestral, classical, epic and ambient genres.
