“DAYS”
This is the first release of  a series of drone-works   “Days”

In this case made in the afternoon of December 7th 2015.

Drones made using various synthesisers and effects1 based on small adapted variations of midi sections of works by Fripp and Eno, Terry Riley and others….

If the cosmos is ultimately noise then any aesthetics are very rare  just as this day is amongst the millennia of endless time2…

Recordings made in real time with looping and delays and subsequent processing during which drawings of the gardens and rooms of the house in Springfield Road are made. Each limited to 20 copies all with original drawings. Also available on soundcloud as free downloads.

With regard to noise and noise theory, amidst the cosmological cacophony an aesthetic of beauty would likewise be a rare exception, but not without any existence or reason, but a brief light in a cosmic darkness.

Origination was a midi score made from Terry Riley’s Poppy Nogood and the phantom band. The midi data was used to produce short renditions on various synthesisers, Roland / Yamaha. These in turn recorded as samples to computer where subsequently a custom sample player, looper, processor, rendered various recordings over 8 tracks. For Stanley- One of Four last songs # 1.
