Funky 80's R&B Mix, Vol. 1

Just what the title implies. This one is HARD. This mix spans many genres and tempos of music, keeping with the theme of deep bass, crisp snares, screeching guitars, and all-around hardness. I show no mercy.

HARD!

Completed in 2007. This mix was done in loving tribute to one of the best DJ crews ever-- The Numarx. Listening to their mixes over 30 years ago is what made me want to be a DJ. In this mix, you'll find old school tracks mixed in the Soundsmith style, and newer tracks mixed in the Numarx style. This mix also features original clips from Numarx mixes on V103 in Baltimore, with appearances from DJ Spen, Junie Jam, Kool Rod, KG, & Moses.
