The project establishes a dark streets, but drug friendly collective with an entity separate from prior affiliation and entirely unafraid to push the boundaries. "J Manslaughter" is sure to showcase why J Mantekz   is rising ahead of the curve in the Uptown, New York scene. Keeping in tune with recent scenes, the Uptown MC has fun employing he's Snoop Dog smooth like flow while staying true to himself on “Living Legend’,” a New York influenced tune that expressly has nothing to do with pouring up in double cups, but brings you into the life of a young rebel working he's way trough the street life. Accomplished enough through his tenure as a part of THC, his statement on “Versatile” proves he can confidently carry the torch on his own until the group’s next release.

    Some could complain he’s too rooted in a throwback 90's aesthetic, but his craft goes the extra mile and comes off as refreshing where few others are willing to separate themselves following trends.
