I enjoy the tentative quality of the piece. The suspense is really good.

This reminds me a lot of Dan The Automator's Bombay the Hard Way: Guns, Cars & Sitars (1998) tracks. It's great.

Whaddaya Say? is a collaboration between two songwriters who have never met before in person. The entire track was written and produced by Fionn McGuinness-Maris and Clara Sanders under lockdown from hundreds of miles away over zoom.
