Now, come sit tight, and don’t say a word. M!NGO makes his return to vibe.digital with a two-track single, which highlight the all-encompassing nature of his production style, and exuding a mastery of emotion–and technique.

A true dichotomy, these two contrasting tracks not have understated contradictions within themselves. First, “Botnet” opens with gentle waves of sound and airy melodies, which leaves listeners no choice but to melt into the music and feel their worries dissipate… but the song does so in a way that’s almost like a subtle brainwashing. It’s as if “Botnet” coaxes you into letting your guard down. On the other hand, “La Morte” takes listeners on a journey through more anxious territory, with its contemplative, cyclic movement and piercing foreground notes. The clear, direct instruction given in the vocal sample provides this second track with more of a trustworthy, benevolent vibe–despite its unsettling exterior.
