Martin Flex aka PuRe SX, is one of the freshest names on the bass & breaks scene. A producer who knows how to drop the 808 boom and send the bodies flying around the room. Blasting out of the thriving UK underground since 2008, he currently DJs all over the world from USA to Russia, London to Spain, and beyond.

Famous for low end terrorism in the form of his smash hits: Jumpin, Hype Ting, Bass Soul, Twisted Mindz, #Beat2Bassline, Oh Kay, Taking It Back, Shake Ur Body, Sunglasses, Another Day, Let Me Go, Bustin Dubz, 212 Booty and Link Up alongside Deekline, Martin Flex aka PuRe SX has picked up support for his music from all the top names on the scene, from Deekline to Stanton Warriors, Ed Solo to Lady Waks and Krafty Kuts to the
Freestylers.

After his successful “Let’s Go Tour’s 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018” of the U.S.A & Europe., he is returning back for run of U.S.A tours in 2021... Watch out!

Heavyweight Breaks 2020 is a snapshot of the hottest bass fuelled breaks released over the past 12 months mixed by myself Skool of Thought.

Those of you who have been following me will know I released the first Heavyweight Breaks mix CD on SuperCharged back in 2002. The approach for that mix then is the same now - 10 extremely carefully selected tracks which showcase the very best of the scene. 

The trick for me has always been to select tracks that are bass-heavy without being tear-out and uplifting without being cheesy. 

Naturally, I would like to extend my huge thanks to the heavyweight of breaks  - the producers who featured in this mix.

I hope you enjoy the mix.
