seep, unwrought was inspired by Louisa McElwain’s painting Desert Rain God. It is currently a part of the “Border Crossings: Mexico and the American Southwest” exhibit in the Phoenix Art Museum. It attempts to represent techniques and aspects of McElwain’s artistic style and output as a whole as well as this particular painting which depicts a 2009 New Mexico desert storm.

Wax Garden

Composed for "I See What You're Hearing" exhibit at Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts. Features hydrophonic sounds of melting ice in plastic, glass, and metal.

A Thread Submerged In Horizon

Force of Friction features material from ambisonic recordings taken in Granada Park and Dreamy Draw Recreation Area, both in Phoenix, AZ. The recordings were made on March 10, 2020 shortly before stay-at-home orders were put in place due to Covid-19. The work is a commentary and exploration of the disruption of regular events and normal cycles we have grown accustomed to and adhere to as a society during this period of necessary social distancing, and in some cases isolation.
