Hello friends,

For this mix, I have prepared a collection of high energy tunes with some deep dark turns. I’ve taken inspiration from some of my favourite sets at festivals from recent years, with songs reflecting valuable memories and feelings I would re-visit if I could. On top of this, I have recently been exploring darker, moody sounds that I think are also appropriate for a longer set where dancers/ listeners can really lock into the groove and enjoy the tracks.

Recorded at home on a hot summers evening in Peckham on 2 x CDJ 850s and an Allen & Heath Xone 23. Constructed from a coupla practise sessions with this being the 1st proper take.

I will list all the artists whose music I've included at a later date when I have some more time.


Since I last put out a mix (arch 2019) a lot has change for me and in the world. My taste has widened as well as somewhat changed, but also Tiktok (etc etc.) is a thing now (lol) and club music seems to be much faster as standard. Anyway, I actually think this makes it easier to cut through to what I actually like and that. The fact that I'm more passionate than every about listening to and finding new tunes also helps.

I hope you can enjoy this mix, produced for a competition but I thought a good time to publicise my updates tastes. As always it's not perfect but its almost there (I hope!).
