This song is all about uplifting black women all over the world and reminding them that they are magic no matter what! In a world where we are told that we aren't good enough, our hair is nappy, we aren't beautiful enough and our own men don't want us, this song is a reminder to us all that we can always make a way out of no way and that's what makes us magic. It's also a reminder to us all, black woman or not, to remain unapologetically you no matter what. Although this is an r&b song it also has some hip hop elements as well.

This is a new spin to one of my previous singles. It was initially a remix to Bryson Tiller's "Don't" but, by request, I decided to make it into its own song. The song is about receiving unwanted attention and/or sexual advances from men and dealing with toxic masculinity in today's society. How do you handle it? Should you just be nice, smile and give the guy who followed you home your number so he doesn't hurt you? Should you be honest and tell him you're not interested? Or should you just ignore him altogether? These are things that women think about on a daily basis when being approached by men all the while trying to stay safe and ultimately alive.

She is known for her songwriting and vocal contributions to the award winning video game from Square Enix called NieR: Automata. She has also gained notoriety as the backing vocalist for two prominent artists on the Japanese R&B scene, Kubota Toshinobu and Ai. She released her first single, Black Girl Magic in October of 2018 and is set to release her EP titled This Is Only The Beginning very soon.
