Hey guyssssssss!

Thank you so much for the support, this year has been overwhelming for me, both in good and bad ways as well. A month ago i almost lost my entire catalog due to a new distribution deal i signed and having it get breached almost immediatelly for reasons unknown. 

I worked so much to get my catalog back up, lost some tracks along the way (apparently the distributor claimed them somehow...) and i realised that keeping music in my hard drive will only make things worse.

So i decided to drop again, starting with my rendition of Leon Thomas' "MUTT". I hope you like it! Leave a comment and lmk how u vibe with it ^_^

MUTT (+)

Hailing from Buenos Aires: multi-instrumentalist and producer Gas Lab releases his 12th full length album “Please Don’t Judge Me". 
A laid-back gem featuring smooth synth melodies over a dust-crackling lush soundscape,
rhythmically counterpointed by a percussion driven drum bounce and all glued together by warm bass lines. 

Solo

This track is especially meaningful to me. If you haven't heard of Fred Hampton, please look him up. He was a chairman of the Black Panther party in the late 1960's before being assassinated by the FBI in his home while he slept. Fred Hampton sparked such initiatives as the Free Breakfast program for children and the Rainbow coalition, consisting of the Young Lords, Black Panthers, and the Young Patriots. He was a revolutionary thinker and leader. 

Fred Hampton gave a powerful speech in 1969 before his death (where he even stated that he thought he would be killed) where he talks about socialism being the people. It's a people's movement that requires all of us to participate and to get out with the people, doing the needed work of mutual aid, social justice and revolution. 

This man absolutely shook up the system and he will forever remain a hero to me. This song is my tribute to him and his life. It came out way groovier than I expected, which I really love. When you listen to this song, please listen to Fred's words and let them stir something in you. 

Now is the time for the people to wake up. Let's find each other and start working together.
