As hip-hop continues to evolve so are its' artists and one of the newest singles to drop out of Denver, Colorado is no different. Walk Thru the Bank by Baby Jo Lil Casino continues to push the genre forward with an up-tempo vibe combined with a re-invigorated Baby Jo Lil Casino, who is making his return to hip-hop after three years away.

"Honestly, what really got me back into music was seeing all my friends progressively still growing," Baby Jo Lil Casino told me the morning of November 11th; the day his newest track was set to release. "The vibes at their shows were always chaotic and fun. I wanted to bring people that same experience -- jumping into crowds, throwing open water bottles all over the place."

The hard-hitting hi-hats and snares combined with the nearly trance-like cords from the production of Enzo the Alterist is the perfect medium for Baby Jo Lil Casino's in-your-face vocals and methodical flow. The contrast of the quick-tempo production and the slowed down vocals culminates into a sound that not only carries an extreme level of energy but also is simplistic and exact in its own unique way.

"That is what the industry needs right now," Baby Jo Lil Casino said. "good vibes without all that political and negative bullshit."

This will not be the last you hear from Baby Jo Lil Casino either. He did not return from hip-hop retirement just to drop one single and leave. Baby Jo Lil Casino is here to stay and has big plans. He decided to drop a teaser during our conversation.

"I have a secret show presented by U Can't Come on November 18th and I'll be dropping another single on Thanksgiving for all the loyal fans." Baby Jo Lil Casino said.

Number 2: Shout the fuck out for Lil Rari and Stuntman Ted blessing with this production out of nowhere one night. All I did was ask if I could get the record and he sent it that night. Lil Rari has been putting in work for quite sometime so it was dope working with him. I never had even heard of or new of Stuntman Ted but after checking out his production I'm proud to have him be apart of this record. This is for the spring time type shit. This is that ride with the windows down blasting this shit out your windows. The records concept was definitely shifted towards talking about phones just from the sample of that old motorola ring in the back but I really just wanted to bring across that I actually have 4 cellphones. 1 LG 10, 2 iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy s7 and a Samsung SGear watch. We really talking what we living out here. If you have 4 cellphones for whatever reason, this is perfect for you.
