Having fun with music on this beautiful spring day. Being inspired by all the flowers coming out, the leaves in the trees, water warming up in the lake...
The flower on the photo grows in my garden, one of many... Makes for a very inspiring place!
The track is played by me on bass, two layered tracks. I found royalty free voice clips on youtube, thought it would be fun to mess around with them! 
Drums are programmed by me.

I recorded this with the purpose of adding some guitar over my bass parts, yet, after many hours of trying different things, i decided to leave it drum and bass only. Had lots of fun recording this piece.

This piece happened spontaneously one evening here, at the lake.
The image comes from my dock, a very large spider lives there...
We can hear my favorite music genre in this, funk... Based on a bass riff, the rest came naturally.
All played by me, exept my programmed drum samples.

A big warm thanks to the very talented Mirjam, who once again added the missing touch to my instrumental. She wrote the lyrics for a specific person, a long time ago,  but I resonated a lot with her words, a part the fact that for me, i fell in love with the person, she did not 'want me to become her true love' like the lyrics say...And was not fake so to speak either...
Mirjam got caught by a fake man living in a different country, passing as someone else giving her false hope of deep love... 
Basically, people who live in text messages and never show their true face, even if they hurt people badly with their actions. People who are not who they portray to society. 
The universe sees your actions, remember that!
Oh, and never forget... Don't piss off a songwriter, most songs are written from real life you know...
