DISTRESS - Technological Cannibalism (live 2010 C.U.C.A - CAMPINA GRANDE-PB)

In the beginning of 1995 in the city of Areia, state of Paraíba - Brazil Distress(BRA) had arisen. 
With the purpose of execute a Death/Grind, influenced by classical bands of eighties and nineties, showing a lyrical theme close to social politic issues, death, human madness etc.
The first line up was composed by:
Beto Soares: Vocal
Carlo Galzerano: Drums
João Terrorizer: Guitar 
Alex Cardoso: Bass
In the year of 2000 Distress Record his first demo-CD called “The Inception of Distress”, having five tracks within, presenting a more rhythmic Death/Grind  as the influences of the Death Metal and Grindcore masters like: Obituary, Entombed, Dismember, Benediction and Napalm Death.
In 2003 Beto Soares left the vocals and Breno Pablo took his place through the next years until 2005, having been registered only in a live show recording, in CUCA – Campina Grande city – Brazil, as a result of a bootleg stuff.
After some years on hold, in September 2010 Distress has been back to the activities, thirstier for distortion, faster and cohesive, doing a more experienced sound, without miss the essence and influences of old school Metal.
