Jo Colangelo was born in Italy in 1985 and even as a child you could sense his strong passion for music. When he cried, his mother knew that it was enough sing a few notes to calm him down and give him joy. As a kid the radio was his best friend, when he was 10 years old he bought his first compilation album and fell madly in love with the track De 'Lacy Hideaway (Deep Dish Mix). At 14 he began to follow a group of DJs (Dj Blood, Kekko DJ Tony B) who were immediately liked him, they allowed him to open and close their DJs set. After a few years he was ready to get serious. 
Using the pseudonym DJ Gianni Colangelo (2005-2013), in 2005 he played music on the opening of Boca Chica (EC), then Sergio Rosiello's agency got on board, in the 2 years that followed he became resident of Sajonara (BN), Sabus (BN), Made in Italy (BN). In 2010 he became resident in the Smile Disco (BN). This club hosted some of the biggest Italian and International DJs, and changed the history of Benevento's nightlife. He later became a resident at Mayday.
In 2014 he began his career as a producer and he produced his first Ep (Ballet of the 21th Century Ep) with an English label, within a few days sales were climbing. In 2015 he moved to London to work on new music projects. Stay tuned.
