The three track EP focuses on mixing multiple genres such as garage, house & trap into a bass orientated hybrid. Implementing 90’s vocal classics from Aaliyah & Tina Turner, S8 is able to carefully infuse the soulful of the past with a future sombre twist. 
‘Virgo’ marks the first international collaborative release with Singapore based Darker Than Wax, a label that dedicates itself to seeking out & pushing ground breaking music. 
The EP is available for free download March 10th with an official remix from sh?m dropping soon after.

M-Phazes has returned to offer up ‘Is It Good To You’, the second release from his new and highly successful side project – Camden Arc. This time, the award-winning producer has enlisted the co-production expertise of long time friend and collaborator 10A (Winner of the Australasian Invitational Beat Battle VIC 2014). 

‘Is It Good To You’ confirms the musical tip Camden Arc is on. Heavy synths and Chicago juke influenced keys pound this revisited acappella, breathing new life into Teddy Riley & Tammy Lucas' contribution to the 1991 urban cult classic ‘Juice’ movie soundtrack.
 
The success of Camden Arc’s first release ‘I Don’t Wanna Fall In Love’ received an influx of international & local blog support (Pigeons&Planes, FasterLouder & triple j’s Home and Hosed), giving rise for Camden Arc to further coast the path of his rather unexpected venture. With backing from a global network of musicians and fans, it could not be more obvious that there is a mandate for more music from Camden Arc.

“Take Two” is a new series of EP’s under SaturdaySelects that focuses on the creativity and rendition of artists we work on remixes and edits of some of their favourite tracks. This gives a new outlook at an existing track adding flavours and sounds that give the track a new lease of life. The project also pairs up a designer with the artist of the project to create a collaborative effort in giving their analysis of the tracks vibe and translates it into the cover design of the EP, hence creating an audio-visual synergy and project.
