You wouldn’t find pearls on the beach. If you really want a pearl you will have to dive for it. For over five years we’ve been browsing through boundless seas and branched forests to find powerful gems leaving a sharp impression while taking us on a journey. They infatuate, fascinate and delight the listeners falling in love with the works of art. What makes the quest most fun: the more unknown the artists, the more truthful the productions. After all, it is music that makes us do things we usually wouldn’t dare. It is a whirl we really like to jump into like a big and swinging web of silk and sorrow.

Perlen liegen nicht am Strand. Wenn du eine Perle begehrst, musst du dafür tauchen. Seit mehr als fünf Jahren tauchen wir in unendlichen Meeren, durchforsten verzweigte Wälder, um Musikstücke zu finden, die einen auf eine Reise mitnehmen und tief beeindrucken. Sie betören, faszinieren und entzücken ihre Hörer, die sich in diese Kunstwerke verlieben und sich in ihnen verlieren. Und das schönste an dieser Suche ist: je unbekannter die Künstler, desto mehr sprechen die Exemplare für sich. Die Musik ist es nämlich, die uns Dinge tun lässt, die wir uns sonst nicht wagen würden. Sie ist ein Wirbel und ein großes, schwingendes Netz aus Seide und Sorge, in das wir uns gerne fallen lassen.

Nach der ersten Compilation – “A Collection of Unreleased Pearls” – kommt passend zum Sommer die zweite Veröffentlichung von trndmsk raus: 22 Stücke von Musikern, Produzenten und Komponisten, die sich der elektronischen Musik verschrieben haben. French composer Worakls finds his way back to the Hungry Music imprint, after recently releasing the “Adagio For Square” smash hit on Pete Tong’s FFRR Records. Worakls is currently breaking new ground with his trademark sound - fusing live musical elements with cutting edge electronic music production skills. His latest adventure is named “Question Réponse”, a dramatic piece of modern dance music, featuring blaring horns, an incredible romantic string section as well as arpeggiated synth layers to provide enormous drive. The thick rolling bassline and thumping groove glue together this masterpiece in perfect style. 

On the flip side resides the equally breathtaking “From Now On” piece. Worakls focuses on a marching & moody feel, before breaking the track down, to only feature the gorgeously crafted strings and horns. He once again brings together the classical and dance worlds in an inimitable way, so they can flourish on dancefloors worldwide as well as everywhere else!

"Eternity" is a dreamy piece built around a delicate xylophone theme. A heavy bassline, vibrant synth layers, and punchy hi-hats give depth and strength to the wide melodic aesthetic. The result is an hybrid banger that will never disappoint, whether you're at home or in a club.

Next up is the very ambitious and powerful "Millenium". Its main theme intricates perfectly with the more clubby elements of this techno anthem. As always, Joachim pulls off a perfect combination of sensitive synthesizers and catchy beats.

Joachim Pastor was 4 when he first discovered the world of music. After studying at Versailles Conservatory, he took part in many bands before starting to produce his own music. His fast progession allowed him to stand out as a unique talent, soon well identified for his pop and melodic influences.

In 2014, he creates the label Hungry Music with his friends Worakls and N’to and that enables him to produce his music just the way he wants it, thus offering powerful vocals, coloured beats as well as a tactful touch of guitar. His upcoming album, gathering loads of exclusive featurings, is the next step of an already very promissing career.
