In late 2011, the ever-active beatsmith Fulgeance released the Step-Thru album on rx:tx Rec. as a limited-edition CD with hypnotic cover graphics. It was his "back to the roots" project - no fancy stuff, just simple and effective production that focuses on the key elements that make people move - the track's rhythmic swing, its bass melodies and haunting hooks. 
Now, besides releasing heavy loads of new material on his own (last LP "Cubes on Musique Large") and as one half of Souleance, Fulgeance finally sits back, relaxes and tosses four tracks from Step-Thru to four different remixers. 
To start with the three hit French combo, first up is VECT, who is consistently producing some incredible out of the box hiphop & classy futuristic r'n'b beats. His take resulted in a head nodding piece, less of a remix than a total remake of the album opening track "Whut It Iz". 
On the B side of the 7" there's Moresounds, the Parisien dub and beats champion, who is lately on fire with his self-titled EP and who has previously released fierce tunes on Om Unit's Cosmic Bridge label. He delivers a deep and jukeish remake of the "Wet" track. 
The digital only version of the release also features 2 additional tracks. 
The third remix from the French connection comes from the b-boy duo Funky Bijou as they add some melodic funk to the rightly titled "Raw" track. 
To top it o here's Oknai, one of the most gifted, focused and consistent 
young talents from Slovenia whom we know for his excellent "Ain't a 
Dream" EP. He delivers a tight, subby, low down version of the track 
"Square".

Take a sonic journey, from your concrete landscape to the wondrous world of a secret garden, an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of life. 
Gardener in the City is a sound sculpture based on my own personal journey from the sprawling city to find my own little place of peace. Using field recordings from the journey along with instrumentation to represent how two worlds collide, intertwined and somehow connected, each world adapting to the other. Space is precious in our 21st century metropolises and green space even more so, we often forget or even take for granted the world of sounds around us as we are often so immersed in our own insular worlds of technology. Take time to cultivate your own personal Garden in the City!

A bright and colourful scenery: Shrill blinding sights, piercing foreign sounds, a fusion of disparate scents blended into a cocktail of curiosity. Fleeting attempts embrace a thousand senses in one single second. Bustling around in the shadows of buildings as high as mountains, an almost eerily overwhelming sense of contentment is omnipresent - but something doesn't appear to be right...
Stranded on a lonely island in the midst of a chaotic metropolis, disconnected - a feeling of drowning in an ocean of overstimulus and importunities of disproportionately inflated personalities, without ever even being registered or taken notice of.
What's left is nothing more than the ghost of a young soul, wandering about and curiously studying the surrounding, forever looking for answers that would otherwise seem trivial.

After “Kidsuke” the critically acclaimed collaboration project with Daisuke Tanabe, “Tokyorkshire” based producer kidkanevil continues his fascination with Japan and readies his latest solo album My Little Ghost. Inspired by a summer spent in Tokyo collaborating, exploring and generally refusing to grow up, the double vinyl is due May 2nd on Project: Mooncircle and features a wide range of guests including PMC's own submerse and Tokyo vocalist Cuushe.

'My Little Ghost' comes out worldwide on limited gatefold, double, pink vinyl (including download code) as well as a limited edition CD including a bonus track via flau records (http://flau.jp/releases/40.html) in Japan.

This track is made out from different sounds I recorded in Parisian RER C (kind of a mix between a metro and a suburban train). I spent 10-15 minutes blocked in a broken train near Gare d'Austerlitz, and the train was producing amazing sounds as if it was crying, lamenting about its difficult life. At the same time, an indian woman was singing for money in this train, I actually used her voice treated with some posteffects in this track. I also used a recording of a sitar I made while I was travelling in Lyon, France. I spent 2 hours in Pick&Bosch musical shop recording different exotic instruments and I picked up this sitar sound to fit it with the train's lament.
