"We've seen this place before

A song that takes the listener on a true journey - an ambient opening transitions into dark, almost industrial vibes, and ultimately into an uplifting glitchy IDM closing section. Inspired by the climate emergency, a reflection on the importance of climate action, @bestilltheearth has stunningly reimagined our original song 'Winter of My Heart'.

'Earth, Turned to Stone' is part of our new EP, which features six reworked versions of songs from Earth: I, breathing new life into the music and sounds, and creating a stunning new collection of climate-inspired art.

Written before, while and after embracing an emotionally dark place, it's part of one's journey to self-awareness. There's love, anger, rumination, meditation, and realization. It's a lingering, gentle, pensive rise presented as a melodious milkshake of stories, experiences, and feelings.

I hope you'll just enjoy it somehow. Maybe it will make you feel better about your day, maybe it will make you embrace or escape your darkness. Maybe something else. I guess it depends on who and where you are.

'A SIMPLE THOUGHT' is a 7-track mini-album composed and produced back in early 2012.
It combines deep atmospheres with glitchy elements and pianoriffs.
