"This is the cover of one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite artists, On The Beach by Neil Young. When i first heard that song, i felt like i could have or should have written it. The lyrics are so dark and beautiful, they relate to the slightly autistic part that a lot of artists are hiding and the artist condition in general. But I'm no Neil Young when it comes to song-writing, so instead of trying to write something as good, I decided to make a cover, twist that blues tune and turn it into something completely different and (much to my surprise) even darker, to the point where most people don't even recognize the original song."

A mix of classical music (originally for Vanity Fair)

4h DJ set live on a beach in Boipeba, a tiny remote town on an island in Bahia. Played from 4 to 8am, following the sunrise, for the infamous Mareh festival. This was my first time there. Very broad spectrum of music. The first 15 min are missing unfortunately.

This is the first ever release from Meditation Tunnel, the new electronic music project from former The Rapture frontman, Luke Jenner.

Luke shares a room in Joakim's studio in Brooklyn and they have been working together on Luke's upcoming solo material. Besides writing music for his solo project, Luke has started making house and techno tunes under the name Meditation Tunnel as well as collaborating on a side-project with Dj Tennis from Life & Death.

Recorded live at Mareh Festival in Atins, Brazil, on 2019 new years eve, between 2am and 6am. That party was happening in a tent on a tiny sand island of the shore of Atins only accessible at high tide. Just try to imagine that setting while listening, the sunrise slowly appearing around 5am.

There was a short rain around 5am that caused an interruption in the sound that you can hear in the mix. Also, it was recorded in mono for some reason... but the vibe is there.
