Alejandro Mosso’s ability to traverse genre lines makes him a pillar of XYZ’s artistic vision. Through the Sirocco and Promenader EPs, he’s built a foundation at the intersection of deep house, minimal techno, tribal, and melodic dance music. As we enter the blissful months of summer, we revisit Mosso’s latest project with a roster of remixers from across the electronic spectrum. 

Manjumasi maestro Mark Slee makes his XYZ debut as he reworks Coralia. Heady drumwork brings a jazzed minimal feel to the remix, allowing the original’s melodic work to carry the torch in the early stages. Slee kicks us into gear as we progress, adding a cutting arp and pronounced breaks to seize dancefloor momentum; a non-stop groover from start to finish from the San Franciscan.

Founded in 2021, Amancay is an independent Buenos Aires-based sound collective destined to display the wide array of unconventional sounds and rhythms of twelve Argentine producers. The project is formed by Agustin Giri, CCINNI, Djolee, Emiliano Demarco, Francisco Garcia, Golden Hour, Nicolas Parrado, This & That, Tiello, Xolef, Marvio and Last Men On Earth. 'Ficciones I' will be there first outing and is set to release on the 14th of January.

Lucefora's music is emotional and deep, composed with a lot of melodies and love. Having released on prestigious labels such as All Day I Dream, Tale & Tone or Kindisch we are happy to welcome him on Beatfreak Recordings with 3 original beautiful tracks accompanied with 3 fantastic remixes. 
The first remix comes from the great Permanent Vacation's artist Lauer who left his Indie touch on the original track "Sosiego".  
Then we have another wonderful Indie interpretation of track "El Valle De Los Cisnes" from the label man D-Formation.
And the third version of the original track "Sinestesia" is a top notch production from Bautista Toniolo.

The album opener "My Desire" pins down the essence of the album, showing some pop sensibility and a healthy dose of that early 90s spirit with longing vocals by Rhys Evans. The track shows from many angles of the intensity of what club culture was about. The track has, for sure, that pop quality which sets it apart - it is a very complete and rounded and in the true sense, a hit.

When Zurich's Mathias Makau recorded his first track on Playstation 1, releases on labels like Baroque or even his own label Elastic Trax were still pure wishful thinking.
Years have flown by since his first steps and we welcome him with his new EP Lion's Head on Sirion Records.
Minimal warm basslines, drums, percussion elements, synth surfaces and intelligently distributed accompaniment sounds, peppered with discreetly held vocals give the tracks organic warmth and a wonderful depth.
Besides the two original tunes, a dub mix and remixes by are:age and Nachtaktiv round off the package wonderfully.

Joal is a Portuguese DJ, producer and live performer based in Berlin and with one of the most exciting live acts in recent years.

Music cannibal, constant sonority accumulator, sometimes melancholic and crazy thinker, are just some of the variables that generate his individual. Not wanting to converge in a specific genre of sounds, instead, he wants to be the synthesis of a continuous and restless contamination and commingling of various elements and sonority absorbed over the years.

Basic elements from house and techno are without doubt his most common ground to explore, although, continuous experimentation, openness to change and versatility are key words to define his music.

His dedication gave him the opportunity to release on some of the most well known labels in the world, like M_nus, Selador, Knee Deep in Sound, as well as having frequent exposure in the featuring sections and TOP charts of stores like Beatport.com.

In 2010 and until 2017, he was in charge of Monog Records, whose Modus Operandi is to create a unique and familiar relationship with the Artists and their music. 

In 2018 he joined JEPE and Juaau to form Perce 
Perce is a record label aiming to tells the lush story of personal discovery and eternal devotion to the elements of nature, which weave in and out of consciousness into a state of being.
