After a crazy year, the city is brewing with new energy. This set was brought to life at a private rooftop event celebrating New York's comeback, and welcoming the summer months. 

I wanted to express New York's diversity by selecting songs from around the world. It celebrates sounds from South Africa, Bulgaria, Brazil, Cameroon, Colombia, Spain, Italy, France, and of course the US from the West Coast to the deep South. 

The mood is upbeat and bouncy, and works both for daytime and night-time vibes. Hope that you enjoy it, and that you have a wonderful start to the summer!

A mutant vehicle fuelled by love and malva pudding parked underneath the San Clan.

bubbles -- check;
genny, sound, CDJs, flashy, base bins -- check (eventually);
enough music to last until sunrise -- check;
friends-like-family -- check.


It's hard to describe what the desert gave us last week. We found the secret sauce -- the SOUS, if you will -- in abundance.

Pinerolo is a restaurant in Oslo. I was commissioned by the owners to compile and mix three mixtapes. Their directives were rather vague, lending me an opportunity to pick from any genre, not care too much about how commercial the tracks were and just create an eclectic but cohesive compilation that would contribute to the relaxed vibe at Pinerolo. This is what I did.

Absolutely delighted to have The Scumfrog on Sunset Grooves. One of our all time favorite DJs and producers who can easily switch from upbeat grooves to chill out vibes to original classics is everything we strive for at Sunset Grooves.
