Nam Myōhō Renge Kyō (南無妙法蓮華經, also transliterated Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō; literally translated as Devotion to the Law of the Lotus Flower Scripture and exegetically translated as Devotion to the Mystic Law of cause and effect that exists throughout all the sounds and vibrations of the universe) is a mantra that is chanted as the central practice of all forms of Nichiren Buddhism. The mantra is referred to as Daimoku (題目, or the Great Invocation) and was first revealed by the Japanese Buddhist teacher Nichiren on the 28th day of the fourth lunar month of 1253 AD at Kiyosumi-dera (also, Seichōji) near Kominato in current-day Chiba, Japan. The practice of chanting the daimoku is called shōdai (唱題). The purpose of chanting daimoku is to attain perfect and complete awakening, and have actual proof of this practice to oneself and others of the validity of the Lotus Sutra.

The phrase is somewhat difficult to render into English because each word or set of words contains a complex set of symbolism and connotation, and without an understanding of the semiotic significance of the words, the full meaning is lost.

Existem muitos mantras para proteção na tradição da Kundalini Yoga, mas cada um tem uma energia um pouco diferente. Rakhay Rakhanahaar é um desses mantras poderosos. É um mantra para proteção contra forças negativas e é cantado durante o Sadhana Matinal Aquariano e em muitas meditações de yoga da tradição do Sikh Dharma. Este shabad (canção) foi composto por Guru Arjan, o quinto guru dos Sikhs, e faz parte da oração noturna chamada Rehiras.

Este shabad tem o poder de te proteger de todas as forças negativas, especialmente aquelas que "se movem contra a pessoa que trilha o caminho do dharma, tanto interno quanto externo". É uma vibração poderosa que corta vibrações, palavras, pensamentos e ações opostas.

Este mantra também cria um campo magnético positivo no local entoado, por isso é especialmente útil se alguém tiver energia física limitada e poder de concentração limitada. É comumente chamado de canção da vitória, que derruba os obstáculos para o cumprimento do seu maior destino.

Rakhay Rakhanahaar é normamente o último mantra memorizado pelos praticantes de Yoga da Consciência que praticam o Sadhana Aquariano. Normalmente, os iniciantes ficam frustrados e desistem, preferindo entoar os cânticos matinais de sadhana como Wahe Guru Wahe Jio, Sat Siri (o próximo mantra de uma série de sete feitos no Amrit Vela, ou nas primeiras horas da manhã antes do amanhecer.) Se você está tentando, não se desespere! Aprenda uma estrofe de cada vez. Cante essa estrofe cada vez que aparecer e vá adicionando gradualmente outras estrofes. Sem perceber, você descobrirá que pegou esse mantra incrível e pode ser uma das energias protetoras que você precisa em sua vida. Depois de memorizado, ajuda a acalmar as flutuações da mente e, durante meditações profundas envolvendo esse mantra, você verá como ele adormece seus pensamentos e ajuda-o a manter o foco no momento atual.
