Today we had our Full Moon in the sign of Pisces, combined with a Lunar eclipse.
⁠
The Moon is in the sensitive sign of Pisces, with the Sun directly opposite in the practical sign of Virgo. Virgo likes to know where she stands. She plans, structures and organizes, because that makes her feel safe. She acts from facts and does research. And then there is the sensitive Pisces. This sign acts from feelings. If something doesn't feel right, it doesn't happen. Feeling is incredibly important to this sign, as is intuition. 

The theme of boundaries also plays out the days surrounding the full moon in Pisces. Pisces are sometimes so busy trying to please others that they forget themselves. Or they feel burdened to say "no" and thus go beyond their limits. In the coming days, be alert for insights related to this theme.

I finally dived into my SD card and—tada!—found the recording of my April 6th set! What an absolutely magical opening with the incredible crew. So much beauty and energy in that moment!

Abstrakt Opening week-end - Roter Salon Floor @ Mystic Creatures

"Die Welt scheint manchmal verrückt zu sein - wir können uns in all dem Wahnsinn verlieren, ja. Aber wir neigen dazu zu vergessen, dass das nur eine Oberfläche ist. Wir verwechseln das Wetter mit dem Himmel und die Wellen mit dem Ozean. Aber darunter liegt ein Raum, der nicht von den sich ständig verändernden 10.000 Dingen beeinflusst wird, unvergänglich und ewig. Deshalb ist es von Zeit zu Zeit notwendig, in einen Heiß-Luftballon zu steigen und hinaufzufliegen, nur um einen Blick auf die eigentliche Realität zu erhaschen. Das hilft, die Illusion von Maya zu durchschauen, um wieder Hoffnung oder noch besser das Vertrauen zu schöpfen - trotz all des Chaos.

Wie der Psychologe Erich Fromm in der Einleitung sagt: „Ich würde nicht auf eine gute Chance wetten, aber ich bin nicht hoffnungslos. Ich glaube, dass schon biologisch gesehen im Menschen eine Tendenz liegt, sein Leben nicht nur als Einzelner, sondern auch als Gattung zu erhalten. Und erhalten kann man das Leben nur, wenn man es entwickelt, wenn man ein Interesse hat, ja, ich glaube, man kann auch sagen, im weitesten Sinne, wenn man die Welt liebt. Und ich kann an dieser Stelle die Hoffnung nicht aufgeben“.

So lade ich dich ein zu einem Flug durch Turbulenzen in höhere Höhen, durch Wolken und Stürme, Tag und Nacht, jetzt, hier öffne deine Augen, schau nicht weg."

Imagine a warm space. You are deeply connected to the ground. You can feel that invisible connection to the world around you. You are guided by mindful musical creations. You are in the Moment. You are in the room with Diereva.

This live is the third set up I built this year: Starting from sequencers and small synths, I arrived at a hybrid form, with Ableton as a sequencer, with samples and midi signals to a small Roland synth and the TR-8S as a drum machine and midi controller. It's a set up that gives me what I need at the moment and with the possibility of modifying it while maintaining the same approach. And above all, the possibility of creating the set that seems most suitable to me every time, and then improvising.

I created all these tracks (except the last two) for this live with a concert logic, a bit as if it were the same track with variations and with elements that return and evolve.

This also gives me the possibility of breaking out of the rigid scheme of a series of single tracks and thinking more about the flow, even with a greater possibility of making mistakes, and therefore of putting myself on the line.

Take a deep breath. Think about summer; the warmth of morning sun on your skin; carefree days and magical nights. Follow the last echoes of vibrations in your body and memories of exciting encounters and let those hours you may have spent dancing under stars and sun and colorful lights sink in. 
While summer’s green is being replaced by hues of red, orange, yellow and brown, a new, yet familiar, energy invites us to rest, calm down and turn inward. 
The changing of the seasons is so familiar and yet always astonishing - isn’t it wondrous to imagine the craving for a hot water bottle, while lying in bed sweating and without blankets during a hot summer night? And yet, the seasons will change and the new yet familiar is bound to amaze us again and again. 
Similarly, Landhouse’s path has crossed ours many times, from playing at our events many years ago to releasing wonderful music on our label and contributing the very first BeYond podcast. For our 30th edition, he created a live journey that feels like a homecoming and a cozy sweater while watching the autumn rain splash against your window. 
We want to invite you to grab a steaming beverage, to listen to it, outdoors or in the comfort of your home, alone or with dear friends, tend to what comes up from within and maybe try and see if you have access to a feeling of gratitude for the warmth and peace you may be able to find in your life.
