Joanna Borrett is a composer and cellist.  
Joanna's work combines elements of both classical and folk music and  has been published by U.M.P. and SJ Music and Kevin Mayhew. Two of her cello duets have been included in the ABRSM 2024 exam syllabus.The  string orchestral version of Clan was recorded by Her Ensemble in July 2023  and was released on March 8th 2024 and immediately chosen as Album of the Weekend at Scala Radio. The world premiere took place at the Elgar Concert Hall  in Birmingham in February 24th, and there are follow on concerts in Leeds, Liverpool and Newcastle in April.
