2025 International Sound Art Competition Finalist

In the five years that Elodie Chancelier has been practicing kung fu, her confidence has skyrocketed. This short piece weaves together the sounds of her strikes, slides, and movements into a rhythmic and immersive sonic portrait. Every sound in the beat was recorded directly from her training, and then composed and layered with my own vocals to enhance the storytelling. Together, it creates a powerful sonic exploration of female empowerment.
