Choose Again drifts through the edges of memory, movement, and desire, tracing the moments when identity slips and the body dissolves into rhythm. Built on a foundation of minimal melodic techno, atmospheric electronica, and deep analog textures, the EP moves between intimate whispers and expansive soundscapes, where city nights and fleeting connections unfold like hidden narratives. Each track is sparse but layered, balancing restraint with tension: fractured hooks and elliptical phrases evoke decisions unmade, faces half-seen, and movements that leave no trace. The music lingers in the unsettled spaces between what's said and what's felt, where repetition becomes a kind of hypnosis and memory folds into motion.

Across its seven tracks, Choose Again builds a quiet architecture of fleeting presence and unresolved possibility. From the cold detachment of "Two Doors" to the humid anonymity of "Night Device," through the submerged drift of "Current Draw" and the low-burn intimacy of "Aftertouch," the EP maps shifting emotional registers without settling on resolution. "No Sign of Day" stretches into dreamlike suspension, while "Someone Else Was Here" closes the circle with traces of absence and nearness colliding. Voices emerge and disappear, male and female tones weaving into the production like another layer of texture rather than lead. The result is a work where identity, connection, and perception remain unstable - where each listen invites you to enter the same rooms, walk the same streets, and, as the title suggests, choose again.

Sudbeat label manager Graziano Raffa learned the art of DJing before meeting Hernan Cattaneo and striking up a strong friendship in 2010.  
Over the last eight years, Raffa has played at many of the premier clubbing locations all over the world bringing with him a warm, driving sound which is showcased in his latest release. Infact he returns to studio duties with an impressive double header, ‘Night Rockets’ and ‘The Replicant’. 

The bass-heavy kicks welcoming in ‘Night Rockets’ assure the listener of a wild ride. Patiently adding layers of depth along with the percussive lines and sonic touches builds tension and expectation, and the groovy main hook adds new dimensions midway before the break pulls back ready for the big crescendo finish. Magical. 

‘The Replicant’ sees Raffa in deeper waters. Barely audible vocals ricochet across the hearing field as warm pads fashion us a sonic comfort blanket until the pounding bass line wrenches us from our self-imposed somnolence towards the packed dance floor and joyous abandon.

After a strong year of releases on Hope, Replug, ICONYC and more, Alex returns to Sudbeat with ‘Alone’. The lead track is a strong tribal progger with his incredible sound design and attention to detail. Building a head of steam over the opening section, the break is like an oasis from the storm, drawing you deeper into Alex’ web.   

‘Mastadon’ takes off from where ‘Alone’ ends. Punchier drums and a more insistent melodic core drive the track forward, opening the listener up to all manner of mental visuals. The dub mix of ‘Mastadon’ is an altogether different beast. Darker, deeper and more devastating. The bassline leads the way, grinding out a well worn path from the waist down. Finally, ‘With You’ offers some light relief with upbeat drums, uplifting pads and playful melodics.

For our fourth edition of "Untold Stories", a series where we feature new remixes and interpretations of our back-catalogue, we invited a few very special producers from our home country - India, all making their debut appearance on the label. Please welcome Dharmalogy, Midnight Traffic, Nosh & SJ and Ninesh Babu.

Kicking the release off is Dharmalogy, from Kolkata (India), who decided to rework Subandrio's "Lost Soul". With 2 releases on Hernan Cattaneo's "Sudbeat" & a feature in his Balance Series compilation, along with more than 100 tracks & remixes under other esteemed labels through the years, Subandrio - Sri Lanka's most prized export, has gone from strength to strength with every production he lays his hands on. His association with us stemmed back in 2016 through his debut appearance via an EP called "Lost in Sigirya" EP, made as an ode to his beloved country, where "Lost Soul" first got it's breath of life along with a twisted remix by Vlada D'Shake. It now gets a fresh take from Dharmalogy, an elusive artist who selectively puts out his best work. Dharamalogy's limited discography boasts quality over quantity, with solo & collaborative releases on Darin Epsilon's "Perspectives Digital", Sonic Union's "Lowbit Records", Tash's "Movement Recordings" & the famed "Bonzai Progressive". He continues the high-quality output streak by taking the reins of "Lost Soul" and heading towards the deeper-end, providing a timeless & classy remix where the additional elements, especially the piano riffs & funky bass motifs, elevate the mood of the original's memorable "flute" melody.
