Since 1984, DJ Joanie has been serving up vibrant vocal house and moving the masses at every major venue in Central Florida. Long time residencies have included the legendary Coliseum in Daytona Beach, rated as one of the 90’s “Top 100 Nightclubs in the World”, as well as Orlando’s iconic Parliament House and Southern Nights. 

Corporate Events have included gigs for MTV, Playboy Magazine, Disney’s Pleasure Island, Hawaiian Tropic, Universal Studios, Gay Days, Orlando Pride, Hope And Help Orlando, Harley-Davidson and ABC Television. 

She’s rocked the turntables for celebrities like: Elton John, Billie Jean King, Andy Roddick, Jennifer Hudson, Martha Wash, Inaya Day, Sisaundra Lewis, Pepper Mashay, Jennifer Holiday, Kristine W., Amber, Lance Bass, The B-52’s and more. 

In 2009 she became an active weekly reporter for Billboard Magazine’s Clubplay Chart, an honor only afforded to the country’s most musically influential dance DJ’s. She has been a featured weekly mixshow artist on Sirius XM Radio and MyFlexRadio, where she also served as music director. In 2013 she was profiled on Sirius XM Radio’s “DJ Legends of Clubland” series.
