Electronic & Synthesizer - Andy Morello Mixtape

“Orto.brz” is a hymn to the Brianza’s farming. Joao was born in Mezzago, the origin of the well-recognized “pink asparagus” a unique delicacy that Joao transformed into the bouncy IDM-house opening track “Asparago Rosa Di Mezzago”. Then we have the “white potato” from Oreno, dated back to the 19th century by local historians. Hypnotic voices and crispy acid sounds characterize “Patata Bianca di Oreno”, another pearl by Joao Ceser. Of course, both the pink asparagus and white potato are regularly celebrated in Brianza with well-known festivals.

The “notgood@sports” EP is composed of two original songs by Savnko: notgood@sports and c’mon, accompanied by a bunch of remixes by 51Beats's artists and friends: Crayon Mortel, Double Precision, Giacomo Vanelli, Joao Ceser, Random Name, and Tracya. 
notgood@sports aims at infusing the daily bitterness surrounding us, ranging from the uncertainty about the future to the tiredness and frustration connected to our daily routines. It is difficult to sonically classify the original notgood@sports, with “electronic R&B” likely being the most well-fitting. Then we jump to the bouncy interpretation by Joao Ceser, followed by the “sweet electronic groove” by Giacomo Vanelli. Crayon Mortel’s version follows with his unmistakable “dub-garage beats” that nicely introduce the unique Tracya’s “trippy version”. The last interpretation flies with Double Precision who inject a “profound atmospheric closure”. 
c’mon has been pre-released the 14th of July and within the 2022 Netlabel Day, and it is still free to download with CC license (https://soundcloud.com/51beats/savnko-cmon). c'mon is against any use of weapons, manifesting our worriness about the near future. The “lively electronic pop” original version is interpreted by Random Name with the most energetic track closing the release leaving you breathless!

Joao Ceser is an Italian producer born in 1983 and based in Brianza, with a true passion for analogue stuff, cats and live music. His music adventure began at 13 years old, when he was singing and playing drums in hardcore/metal bands until he discovered his true passion: the synthesizer. He has quickly established himself in the electronic music scene by cooperating with some of the biggest music labels and television reality like Tiptop Audio Records [USA], Cocoon [DE], Fool's Gold [USA], Blood Music [UK], Animal Language [NL], Deejay tv [ITA]. His tracks are constantly being played and supported by artists like Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Ame, Dixon and many more. Joao is also known for his live performances where the modular synthesizer is the star of the show. Thanks to his passion for the machines, he works as consultant and beta tester to some relevant music device brand.

Producer & Modular Synth Performer.

Born in 1973, Andy Morello is involved in electronic music, productions and remixes, since a long time. His research is aimed at finding the link between improvisation and programming. Either playing live or in his studio, Andy travels through rarefaction, granularization, dub, techno and experimentation: a sort of extemporaneous sound installation, created on the spot, unique. From 2017, Andy is deeply passionate to modular synthesis, starting from 2018 the Milano Modulare community, coordinating in 2019 the realization of the first modular day in Milan “Connessioni a modular journey” realized in partnership with Machine Jockey and LePark. Never exhausted, Andy opens in 2020 the Voltage Creative Studio, a recording studio dedicated to musicians, vocalists and producers, which aims to become a reference point both for Milan modular community and for “modular based” productions and sound design.
