Renowned DJ and global electronic music icon, Dimitri ‘Vegas’ Thivaios, is set to reignite the magic of vinyl with the release of his latest album, "Dimitri Vegas Presents Vinyl Only – Live at Tomorrowland". With this special project, Dimitri pays homage to the origins of his career and the timeless art of DJing with vinyl, recording his entire Tomorrowland set on vinyl for this exclusive release.

Dimitri’s career began in the early ‘90s, during which he would save every bit of money to build his personal collection of vinyl. Now, with this album, the producer dives deep into the rich history of electronic music, particularly focusing on the Bonzai Records era, a label that shaped the underground sounds of techno, trance, hard trance, rave music and hardcore music.
     
The album features 21 tracks, all carefully selected and revitalized, blending Dimitri Vegas' own remix work with exciting collaborations featuring Creeds, Per Pleks and Armin van Buuren among many others. Tracks like "Back To Earth" by Yves Deruyter, "Illegale" by The Darkman, "Calyptus" by Tranceball, "Acid Dream" by Cherrymoon Trax, and "The Age Of Love" by Age of Love are revisited in their purest form - on vinyl. Each track was chosen to capture the raw energy and nostalgia of the era, while offering a fresh, contemporary twist for today’s listeners.

At a time when DJing has become more convenient with USBs and digital files, Dimitri deliberately chose to take the harder path. By bringing vinyl back to the forefront at one of the world’s biggest festivals, Tomorrowland, Dimitri captures the raw, analogue sound that defined an era. Dimitri has captivated audiences worldwide, a recent surprise appearance by actor Vin Diesel, showcases Dimitri’s ability to keep audiences guessing. Diesel’s enthusiastic presence and participation engrossed the crowd, creating a viral moment that racked up millions of views with their genre-blending collaboration "Don't Stop The Music".

As if the album wasn’t enough, Dimitri is also hinting at a series of ‘vinyl only’ concerts next year, where fans can expect more immersive vinyl experiences.
