Above The Tombs

One of the very first things I composed in Famitracker. Due to this, it has very dull sound design, but I'm still proud of the compositional aspect of it. A catchy melody and just-right pacing, very inspired by Megaman and especially Castlevania, with that distinctly baroque melody in the B section. If it wasn't for the sound design, I'd probably have no complaints towards this one, so I'm probably gonna remake it with my new skills one day :D

The Ultimate Dungeon

A remake of the MM6 Boss Theme, by far my favorite boss theme from the MegaMan series. It expands the song with new sound design, more audio channels (from the MMC5 expansion for the NES specifically) and a few new sections. Very inspired by RushJet's Mega Man Remade series.

I've just recently started playing Shovel Knight, and oh what a gaame it is. It's got everything to just make a retro gamer fall in love with it. And what a soundtrack it has! Thus, I decided to create my own SK-styled track using Famitracker, with the official SK instrument pack that was released by Jake Kaufman to the public.

Cloud Knight Stage Theme

A song I composed for this year's Global Game Jam in La Plata. This plays in the game "Mind Room", in a section that combines cute and postapocaliptic elements. It's a weird concept, I know, but it actually works quite well. So yeah, while this could have been a lot better (especially that super-obvious minor to major transition), it's definitively an improvement from my work in the past Jam.

Cute Postapocaliptic Section (?

An original composition of mine, of the ones I'm the proudest of.  I composed the 2A03 part first, and then added the VRC6 part as a mere "condiment" to the NES's main channels, so that's why the expansion channel may seem underused. Anyways, hope you like it!
 The kick drum sample was ripped by RushJet1 (https://www.youtube.com/user/RushJet1), while the snare was taken from the game KickMaster.

Running In The Night

A tune I composed in the style of the music in Super Mario Bros. games. Tried to make this one bring the same joyful sensations that an actual Mario tune would bring to you. The sound design combines elements from different NES Mario games, and uses samples from Super Mario Bros. 3. Enjoy!
