I was lucky enough to play most of these(fat😋)tracks at a beautiful private party in Ibiza. That gorgeous party made me particularly happy, as I was playing for a lot of new 'Sonic Soulmates' who gave me even more energy than I gave them, and the vibe was just phenomenal🧚‍♀️⚡️🦄!!
So this sound goes into my memory lane as 'Ibiza Memoirs of 2021', one of the first real parties I've had since Covid showed it's ugly head!

Mind Echoes was founded in august of 2021 by brazilian music producer and dj Vitor Menescal. 

After falling in love for Progressive House, Vitor decided to make his own contributions to the genre by creating a whole new project. 

Mind Echoes is about bringing ethereal and trippy experiences throughout his songs and dj sets, with the constant intention on inovating and exploring new sounds. 

After his first single Moon To Mars, Vitor brought the attention to the european record label Labor Musik, which debuted their newest sub-label Labor Tools with Anarchy Love, Mind Echoes first EP.

In december of 2021, Vitor decided to close his debut year with another ethereal song called Embrace Your Mind.

*Richard Trout*

'Richard first began DJing in the mid-'90s at the age of 16. Playing everything from breakbeat, techno, Italian house, jungle, and house. 

Along with a friend, he started a successful night in a local pub but grew out of the dance scene over time and learned to play the guitar.
Being in several bands and playing hundreds of gigs over the years gave Richard a good knowledge of reading crowds.

Around 3 years ago Richard rediscovered his love for house music and set about learning to play on digital equipment.

Richard set up Transmission Lost, a listening platform for DJs to submit mixes to, and built up a group of residents and guests.

Building on this Richard set up his own night called All Things House.
Richard has played many clubs and festivals and holds residencies on Saturo Sounds and Subcode radio.'

If you ask anyone on the playa about DISTRIKT, they immediately smile and say, best day party on the playa! I am proud to be with a kamp of snarky folks who work hard to deliver a full bar 6 days a week and with a music line up that is always on point. I was on the build knew this year and now know a bit more of what it takes to get everything dialed in. A lot of blood, sweat, and middle fingers get this all done. There isn’t room for sensitive Sally’s and that’s why I fit in. I am most grateful for my involvement with DISTRIKT and this year I got to play on my Burnthday, Saturday, September 1st with so many of my awesome friends there with me. The crowd was gathering for my good friend, colleague, and badass DJ Ben Annand and I was ecstatic to follow his flow. I am very happy with this mix and I invite you to enjoy the journey of sounds and moods.
