Mere days before the release of The Seed of Life, the sad news reached the world that the great artist, beautiful soul, and loving person, Daniel Zuur had passed away. He left our dimension to become one with the universe. This release is produced as his alter ego KRAUT and is released on Alae Records.

This album creates an incredibly safe and therapeutic space for listening and deepening the soul. It’s an essential part of his lifework and was the last piece of work he managed to fully complete on this earth.

The Seed of Life is a universal symbol of Creation. The name of this pattern instantly offers insight into its deeper meaning and purpose. Found at the heart of an ancient pattern called the Flower of Life, there is an entire cosmology of consciousness encoded into this singular geometric seed.
The Seed of Life is formed by six circles spaced within one. In fact, six circles ALWAYS fit exactly within the 7th circle of the same size. 

For the title track KRAUT took a 360 degree-circle as a basis - KRAUT replaced the degrees by Hertz, so he could draw the circle using frequencies. To get there he had to detune the standard tuning of A=440 Hertz to A=432 Hertz. Then a complete new world of frequencies unveiled.

Each circle fits into this pattern like a key in the lock, forming a dynamic field of possible geometric relationships which reveal the most fundamental shapes of Creation.
These 7 circles mirror our chakras, the colors of the rainbow & even musical scales! It forms a basis through which the infinite, fractal nature of life can be understood.
In order to unlock the deeper information contained within the Seed of Life, one must begin with connecting the dots, like KRAUT did for this magical LP.

Shamanic Sound Ceremony Agua Sagrada

Studio 1 of Czech Radio is really special venue. Space for recording of symphonic orchestras offers one of best acoustics in Czech Republic. So we took more speakers and subwoofers. Sound was so pure. I was little bit sorry that I was behind the decks. But I felt vibrations of music anyway so we vibe with sold out dance floor together. On this music wave. Pure pleasure.

Lonely Walk

Baikal Nomads presents a collaborative organic house release by Kaöb and Nofrontera. It is the first time these artists have teamed up, and it features three tracks with progressive grooves.

Kaöb is a wilderness explorer, whose music is inspired by trips to more than 50 different countries. His love of nature and organic sounds are what form the backbone of his compelling music, which combines dramatic moments with flowing rhythms.

This is the third time Kaöb has worked with Baikal Nomads, adding to a previous EP, and a contribution to one of the record label's compilations. His tracks and remixes can also be heard on other respected imprints such as Leveldva, Shango Records, MONADA, and Cosmic Awakenings.

Nofrontera is also a French artist from Paris, and he takes inspiration from cultural diversity. He is fascinated by tribal chants, and aboriginal sounds from around the world, which he fuses with contemporary electronic instruments. This is Nofrontera's first time featuring on Baikal Nomads, adding to a catalogue that also includes • kosa • and Cafe De Anatolia.

"Tangaroa" opens the release with upbeat conga rhythms and aboriginal sounds, delivering a mystical vibe with deep atmosphere. "Otro Mundo" has atmospheric synths and ceremonial sounds, creating a trippy vibe underpinned by invigorating percussion. "Native Dream" closes the release with vocal chants and liquid melodies, combining with moody pads and tribal drums.

My first published mix in a while is something a bit different than I normally post on this channel, though it has been the foundation of my life in recent years and inspiration behind beginning to create music many years ago.

Over the past year I've been disconnecting, recalibrating and attempting to go inward. One of my favorite modalities I have discovered during this time is breathwork.

To me this is the epitome of gratitude, as every breath we take is truly a gift.

At any moment we can access this life force to come back to our center, clear space and realize our true power.

I have seen profound healing take place through this practice and experienced it myself through sessions with Tristan Montoya and Kathryn Mayeaux during my time on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala.

In March I found myself going through a tough period. Fear in the collective consciousness was at an all-time high with lockdowns, I was going through a breakup, separated from my dogs and in an unfamiliar country away from what I had come to know as "home".

I was quickly reunited with this practice during my time with @momentomcollective which continued through the offerings at El Zopilote on Isla de Ometepe, Nicaragua. Each session served as a beautiful reminder that I was exactly where I needed to be.

It's been an interesting journey over the 6-7 months since then, but I would not trade it for anything.

I had the honor of being invited to collaborate at the Maderas Yoga Festival for a psychedelic breathwork journey on December 5.

When I say it is an honor to share music in this space, I truly mean it. These containers are some of the most vulnerable spaces I have found myself in, and the energy is beyond palpable. I am grateful to be able to hold space in this way.

My intention through curating this mix was to encourage people to tap into their internal rhythm, allowing their breath to be the guiding light with the music as a vehicle.

I encourage you to go inward while deeply listening. My wish is that this mix will allow you to peel back the protective layers that we construct around our hearts.
