Aurore 404 kicks off 2024 with a new digital solo EP series spearheaded by French artist Disset. His 5-track EP, featuring a remix by Harry Wills, marks the inaugural release.

In this EP, Disset literally constructs a vibrant realm of melodies, where bass lines serve as foundations, drums echo through streets, and notes intertwine like inhabitants of a fictional city he envisions: Calamero. Each track represents a different aspect within this fictional city. The concept of retrofuturism is portrayed musically through a combination of modern electronic machines and samples of traditional instruments, tribal percussion, and ambient sounds.
