We're very excited to bring you The Advent's set from Meat Free, recorded at The White Hotel on the 1st April 2022. 

Cisco was originally meant to play for us in August 2021 but Covid put a stop to that; thankfully we were able to fulfil our goal of having him to play for us and it couldn't have gone any better in our honest opinion. 

Crowd noise included for extra vibes :)

We are excited to present our next special guest in the mixtape series: the legendary Chris Liebing!
Chris Liebing has been a driving force in the techno scene for decades, creating a whole genre back in the 90s with hard, fast banging techno and continuing to push the limits of electronic music today, His infectious energy and friendly demeanor have made him a beloved figure in the industry, and his dedication to elevating other artists has helped the scene flourish

Growing up in the German town of Giessen, Liebing’s journey has taken him from a passion for early electronic music to opening a nightclub (“Spinclub”), working in the Eye Q record store and an acclaimed, lasting career in techno. Dedicating himself to a life of creating and sharing music, Liebing has pioneered the European techno scene whilst always staying true to himself.His DJ sets have forever been fast-paced and immersive, physical workouts, though in more recent years they have tended towards a deeper, hybrid approach of layering multiple recordings into something uniquely his. The track selection draws from an encyclopedic knowledge of the techno genre and its history; he interacts with the crowd, intermittently smiling and retreating deep into concentration. An extensive collaboration with DJ software developer Native Instruments has provided Chris tailor-made, DJ technology for himself, and his expertise has provided the same for DJs around the world. As well as club and festival performances, Chris has a weekly radio show called AM/FM; like his involvement in the NovaMute label, it’s one of many ways he stays ahead of the curve with new music.

#76 belongs to one of our favourite artists since years - Radial.

BIO:
Radial is the techno moniker of Jeroen Liebregts, originally from The Netherlands today residing in Barcelona, Spain. 

Jeroen has been dj'ing since around '98 and picked up music production soon after. Since 2002 Jeroen teamed up with Bas Mooy and started the label Audio Assault as a platform for their own work and that of artists whose work they admire. About a year later sublabel Arms was born. In 2014 his own brand new imprint Radial Records sees the light of day with the release of Crux, the second full length Radial album.

Always driven to dive deeper Jeroen started a 4-year studies of Sonology at the Conservatory in The Hague, which he finished in 2006. This study deals with electronic music composition, computer programming, analog synthesis and electronic instrument design among other things. This is probably what kickstarted his interest to use self designed instruments in his music. The constant quest for new technological approaches is an imported factor that helped shape his sound. His current tendency toward analog hardware based methods also resulted in his involvement in the design and development of the Synton Fenix modular synthesizer.

Over the years the music of Jeroen Liebregts has found it's way to many places using different aliases (Radial, Museum, Finder, Sinecure). There have been releases of original tracks and remixes on labels such as Token, Perc Trax, Mote-Evolver, Numb, Drumcode, Planet Rhythm, Dole-Gate and most recently Mord and MDR.
