Mr. Hades shows his superiority once again, this time with the futuristic &#8220;Act Of Passion&#8221;, where dismal pads and otherwordly stabs propel the dislocated riffs to unholy proportions.On &#8220;Sharp Edges&#8221; we get a more percussion-oriented affair with intense chord manipulation, frantic strings and soaring post-apocalyptic pads, in pure Hades fashion. On the other hand, the Mr. Bizz remix of the title track opts for some steel-plated acid action, relying heavily on loopy sensibilities and dirty synth work.

TOUCH ME GENTLY

Die letzten sechs Wochen waren geprägt von totaler Selbstisolation und repetitiven Tagesabläufen. Tag ein, Tag aus hatte ich ein unliebsames Date mit meinem Schreibtisch. Ich wälzte unzählige Bücher, verglich etliche Statistiken und Berichte mit dem Ziel, aus dem Ganzen schlau zu werden und die richtige Schlüsse zu ziehen. Währen dessen musste ich nahezu alles was mir lieb ist zurückstellen. Auch die MUSIK. Teilweise kam ich mir vor, wie eine auf Textverarbeitung gepolte Maschine. Leer und kalt, den nächsten Tastenanschlag immer im Blick. Irgendwann musste ich dem Zustand einfach entfliehen, etwas tun damit ich mich wieder ICH fühlen kann. Was ich an diesem Tag aufgenommen habe, entspricht genau dem, was mir die ganze Zeit lang gefehlt hat: Wärme und Tiefgang. Die Sehnsucht nach Freiheit, Sonnenschein und neuen Abenteuern. Sich einfach wieder lebendig fühlen.

Wie vielleicht einige von euch gemerkt haben, beschäftige ich mich seit einigen Monaten mit donwbeatartiger elektronischer Musik. Getreu dem Motto: ‚Slow is the new fast‘ gestaltete ich folglich ein 108 BPM Set voller Tiefe und Sehnsucht. Dem Wunsch nach Entspannung, Sonnenschein und Weiterentwicklung. Der Beginn eines neuen Kapitels…

Ach was erzähle ich da. Überzeugt euch selber von diesem Tape und lasst euch auf eine 68 minütige Reise von mir entführen. Ich hoffe es gefällt euch.
