Obligatory "personal Tenna interpretation" song. I came up with the design on a napkin at a restaurant.

I see him as less malicious than most Mikes/Tennas, being a bit of a gruff goofball with a woeful amount of influence (basically Queen but less of a conceited ruler and more of a stupidly rich golden retriever). His aloofness has cost many Darkners their livelihoods, including Mike. He sorely misses how things used to be with Kris' family; how they all used to gather round the living room and watch their favourite programs together...

Tenna is to Asgore as Queen is to Noelle's mother (and King is to Susie's father if you believe she has one)

Hypothetical theme for someone familiar. It appears they're staying in town for the upcoming festival.

Their speech quirk is that they select dialogue prompts with a SOUL cursor -- usually in the form of a choice between a genuine comment and an intrusive thought. However, they'll almost always choose the option that makes them come off as agreeable. They do not have a facial portrait in the Light World.

Tagon (Deltarune Ch. 4)

M: * (Sigh...) Look.

It's Mike!
I imagine him as a jaded, grumpy drifter who hires himself off to fountain-guarding leaders to carry out inter-Dark-World tasks, meaning he crosses paths with the party across several chapters (you even get his Dark World phone number eventually). Poor guy's been through a lot, so his demeanor speaks for itself. He was Tenna's assistant once upon a time, but it seems their relationship has soured...

Mike's able to teleport between most Dark Worlds due to his Light World equivalent being radio wave emissions, making him a bit of a "phantom."

Also good lord 5/4 is a nightmare to work with LMAO

A mockup of what I imagine the game's final moments to be while I work on other music, since I'm not making these songs in order lol. I know the "His Theme Glock" and "SGM Piano 3" combination isn't very original, but eh. School's back in session in a few days and I've been so caught up with getting ready I haven't had many chances to work on music or be active on Soundcloud 😓😅

As for the ending? Post-final-boss (AKA the funny Gaster man going by a different name), I imagine the Delta Warriors + Hometown's residents sealing the Castle Town Dark Fountain with their combined power, only for Kris to dive in headfirst at the last moment since they remembered something they forgot to do.

They find a certain Vessel-y someone in the void, and offer their SOUL in order for said someone to live out their life on the surface like they've always wanted. Kris stays behind, cue heartfelt credits montage of Hometown's residents rebuilding after the Roaring (+ Asriel appearing or smth) while a full rendition of Don't Forget plays. This song is the "Goodnight" of Deltarune.
So, "Thank You" and "Goodnight."

Aunt Radula Snable! (Auntie for short)

A strange old hermit who speaks in the third person and assumes a parental role over Kris. Too physically frail to live in the city, she spends her Darkner days in a cottage at the center of a strangely silent forest. She copes with her aging body via cooking! Though, her obsessive experimentation with new ingredients has caused her to develop some rather concerning tastes in what counts as "food."

So long as she believes it'll make Kris happy, she'll cook anything. And since she's too old to catch live ingredients, she has her own way of slowing them down instead. So long as they're green, they can't escape.

In the Light World, she's a rotting snail pie in the fridge that Kris baked with their mother a long time ago.

Aunt Snable (Deltarune Ch. 3)

Post cooking minigame, Aunt Snable crosses a line and Kris is forced to shove her onto a lit stove, melting her and lighting the cottage on fire. During the duel, the Delta Warriors are on a strict time limit. Take too many turns to shake the muck off your legs, and the entire cottage comes crashing down, resulting in a Game Over.
You fight the snaily foe in a burning house after a session of cooking while she melts, à la Undyne's date and Undyne the Undying. Aunt Snable's design is also a nod to the fact Undyne lives next to a snail farm in Undertale.
I tried to continue a lot of fan-defined "secret boss" patterns. Deadly Sins Theory (gluttony), Fairytale Theory (Baba Yaga), UNDERTALE Counterpart Theory (Undyne), etc. The Divine Comedy/Dante's Inferno pun in the title perpetuates the Devil parallels each Shadow Crystal Boss (+Gaster) has.

(i have basically 0 experience with DR-style backgrounds and im far from "nailing" Toby's battle theme style so I hope you can look past the quality 💀)

This has genuinely been like, a half-a-year-long personal project lmao. The original sketch for the song was made in April and I didn't really get far, which sucked cuz I REALLY wanted to try my hand at a DR "field" theme. Only after Toby Fox dropped all those scrapped songs in the Anniversary newsletter did I feel confident enough to tackle finishing it. (Seeing another artist's early passes is weirdly inspiring, in a paradoxical way...)

This Bad Boy™'s tricked out with all the UTSC classics you've come to expect: those slide-y Turtles in Time orchestra hits, zero-release bass pianos, vibraphones, flanged guitars, the My Funky Town saxophone, the whole nine yards. There's lots of tonal inspiration from other fan-made Chapter 3 area themes present, but I also (as with all hip-hop-adjacent songs I make) took inspiration from Sonic Before/After the Sequel's OSTs because I will never get enough of those soundtracks.

It's not perfect, but I'm super proud of how this song turned out despite how busy life's been (music's been reduced to taking up a fraction of my spare time due to Uni, but I'll manage c̶r̶i̶n̶g̶e̶ ̶a̶s̶ ̶h̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶i̶ ̶w̶o̶n̶d̶e̶r̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶h̶o̶w̶ ̶A̶s̶r̶i̶e̶l̶ ̶f̶e̶e̶l̶s̶ ̶L̶M̶A̶O̶).
