A re-composition of artist Aaron Taylor Kuffner's 'Gamelatron' installation--as it played while I was in the gallery of Palazzo Grimani, viewing the exhibition 'Frontiers Reimagined', at the 2015 Venice Biennale. In this personal recollection and recreation, one beautifully 'defective' hammer forms a basso continuo for the artist's automated orchestra of bells.

I am a writer, sound artist/composer and curator based in Luxembourg. I am interested in expanding the language of art across media, to create a kind of network of experience, memory and affect. Through my work I seek a personal kind of geography, recollected and recomposed--sometimes by city--in sound and text. Drawing on years of classical training in musicianship and composition, along with a love of a broad range of instrumental works, I hope to create a broader world of music and memory for myself, and, perhaps, for others.
