The Sherpa Pimps - August Mix of the Month.

This night was quite mellow with scattered clouds and a medium wind.  Not as hot as previous weeks.  I bought loads of new music the night before so most of  this was all fresh to me.  I really enjoy playing new music, even if they may have been released a few months ago or maybe more.  Had quite a few compliments as people were leaving which always makes it worth the effort.  The hours of preparation that goes into play long 5 hour set always pays off once you are in front of an audience.  Foot tapping, little babies grooving and dancing makes it such an amazing vibe to see and perform for.

Brazilian duo ANONIMAT, the brainchild of Gaba and Atticus, channel a sound that’s equal parts hypnotic groove and raw instinct. We are a collective of 3 Dj's, Colin Laird, Darren Mc Menamin and myself Joe Doherty who have known each other for far longer than we care to admit. With a deep rooted love of dance music in lots of forms, spanning many years from the 80's to the current date.We are still heavily involved in the electronic music scene, still loving getting our hands on the latest tracks.
