This song was written in Quarantine, I moved out to California to pursue music and a week later the pandemic hit. I was sitting there complaining about all the hardships that were going on in my life, thinking why me. 

In my pity, I heard a story from one of my friends that really moved me and changed my perspective. His coworker had lost her job because of covid which led to her losing her health insurance. On top of that she ended up getting diagnosed with cancer a week after this news. 

It really made me think, and wanted you guys to think a little too.

A Cover of a mac miller live performance. This song really hit me when I heard this live performance. It was the first time in music where I felt somebody new exactly how I felt. It’s really just about a time where you want a relationship to work so bad but it comes to an inevitable end, despite everything you try. 

I recorded this song alone in a one bedroom apt in Houston in one take.

This Year I came back home for the holidays. A lot of my friends and family that are the same age as I am started families of their own. Its really crazy to see but its also such a wonderful sight. Its a beautiful thing to see the machismo front the guys used to have, be completely torn down by their daughters extended arms.
