I Remember Jenny

After a trip to Durango, Colorado with his grandfather... my son came home disappointed because he didn't get to film all of the steam locomotives he wanted to. Every morning he would approach me and ask, ... "Dad can you take me back to Durango so I can get some more shots?" So every morning when I'd see him coming down the stairs I'd think to myself, ... here he comes, ..... here comes the Durango Kid! ... And that's how we come up with titles! :)

This is not a keeper. I need to practice it a good bit more ... I do like the melody so I wanted to let my SC friends hear it.

I also discovered that I do not like recording a piece that's as animated as this with new strings right out of the box. Too many harmonic overtones for something this lively, in my opinion. I prefer to break them in for a few days. For a ballad, a blues or a percussive slapping, tapping piece where brightness comes in handy, it would be good. .... Always learning.
