March 29, 1978 : An innocent baby boy is born to a teenage mother. He’s passed around until he settles with a family member. There are other children present who think that it would be fun to spray the baby with oven cleaner. Unsupervised, they creep into the room, and pull the blankets off of the sleeping infant. They cover him from head to toe, including his mouth and nose, with the toxic chemical spray. When he opens his mouth to scream, they spray the toxin into his mouth. The baby sustains burns over the entire front of his body. He escapes death... 
That baby was Joe-G. From the start it would seem that he was not destined to survive. He has beaten the odds time and again to rise like a phoenix from the flames and ashes of defeat, loss, pain, deception, and betrayal. He memorializes the good and the horrid in his life through freestyle and written verses. He shows a vulnerability that is rare in an industry overrun with artists who glamorize detachment and materialism. 
His work ethic is impressive. He has, to date, completed 4 mix tape albums in one year. Despite having no sponsors, a tiny budget and a growing family, Joe-G continues to create content for his label RUI Records/ENT. His vision includes a comedy sketch show, a podcast, a mini-movie, and a web series. Through collaborations with  and Thighbone Industries, these projects are all in development.
