Wings of the Within

In a darkness no one knew,
I felt the roots within me.
A quiet breath,
in a soundless echo—
the old self called out to me.

I rose like fire.
Worn pain became a dance,
and tears turned into music,
rising up through my soul.

I walked through those emotions,
soared beyond every limit,
and my wings—
not given by anyone—

were light, drawn once more
from the self I had lost.

And then…
like the stillness of dawn,
I returned to my place.

The wind fell silent.
And the light whispered to me:
Now, you are truly you.

The roots of my emotions were growing quietly, unnoticed.
Within a still breath,
I faced myself for the very first time.

Pain and tears — they were all part of me.
I embraced myself within them,
and began to rise,
becoming the flame itself.

Chapter III: Breaking the Sky 3:36 – 5:40
I shattered every wall that confined me.
At last,
my wings tore through the sky.
For the first time,
I flew as my true self.

Chapter IV: The Return of Light 5:41 – 6:31
And then… I returned.
No longer incomplete,
I stood once more upon the earth,
with the light beside me.

나는 내 안의 뿌리를 느꼈다.

말없는 울림 속에서
오래된 내가 나를 불렀다.

불꽃처럼 타올랐다.
묵은 고통이 춤이 되었고
눈물은 음악이 되어
나를 뚫고 올라왔다.

나는 그 감정 속을 걷고,
한계를 넘어 하늘로 치솟았다.
내 날개는 그 누구로부터도 아닌,

내가 잃었던 나로부터
다시 꺼낸 빛이었다.

그리고…
고요한 새벽처럼
나는 나의 자리로 돌아왔다.

바람은 멎었고,
빛은 내게 말을 걸었다.
이제, 네가 진짜 너라고.

The sixth station - Joe Hisaishi

Mamoru Fujisawa known professionally as Joe Hisaishi 久石 譲 , is a composer and musical director known for over 100 film scores and solo albums dating back to 1981.
While possessing a stylistically distinct sound, Hisaishi's music has been known to explore and incorporate different genres, including minimalist, experimental electronic, European classical, and Japanese classical. Lesser known are the other musical roles he plays; he is also a typesetter, author, arranger, and conductor.

He is best known for his work with animator Hayao Miyazaki, having composed scores for almost all of his films, including Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984), Laputa: Castle in the Sky (1986), My Neighbor Totoro (1988), Kiki's Delivery Service (1989), Porco Rosso (1992), Princess Mononoke (1997), Spirited Away (2001), Howl's Moving Castle (2004), Ponyo (2008).
When he started to take violin lessons at the age of five, Hisaishi discovered his passion for music. Realizing his love, he attended the Kunitachi College of Music in 1969 to major in music composition. Hisaishi collaborated with minimalist artists as a typesetter, furthering his experience in the musical world.

He enjoyed his first success of the business in 1974 when he composed music for a small animation called Gyatoruzu. This and other early works were created under his given name. During this period, he composed for Sasuga no Sarutobi (Academy of Ninja) and Futari Taka (A Full Throttle).
In the 1970s, Japanese popular music, electronic music, and new-age music flourished; those genres, as well as the Yellow Magic Orchestra (a Japanese electronic band in 1978–1983), influenced Hisaishi's compositions. He developed his music from minimalist ideas and expanded toward orchestral work. Around 1975, Hisaishi presented his first public performance, spreading his name around his community. His first album, MKWAJU, was released in 1981, with Information being released a year later. His first major anime scores were Hajime Ningen Gyatoruz (1974) and Robokko Beeton (1976).

As his works were becoming well known, Hisaishi formulated an alias inspired by Quincy Jones, an African-American musician and producer. Retranscribed in Japanese, "Quincy Jones" became "Joe Hisaishi."
